8 beautiful ladies joined me today at the Lair after a very motivating pre-blast: “It’s not about being the best. It’s about being better than you were yesterday.” We all showed up to do just that. For some of us, that meant just getting out of bed and getting to the beatdown! Either way- everyone worked hard and I personally think they ARE the best! And so was the weather!

Our Warm Up:

Windmills IC

Jumping Jacks IC

Arm Circles OYO

Warm up lap around the front lot

The Thang:

Round 1:

2 Burpees, 2 Merkins, 2 Squat Jacks- run up and down the stairs

Repeat with 4 reps of each, 6 reps of each, 8 reps of each, and then 10 reps of each. After finishing 10, take a lap instead of the stairs.

Then go back down starting at 10 reps each- run up and down the stairs

Repeat with 8, 6, 4, and then finally 2 reps of each. Finish with another lap instead of stairs on the final round of 2s.

Round 2:

Ring of Fire Abs. We passed around the following exercises without every taking a break. PAX modified as needed.

Holding plank, pass around

2 Walking Planks (forearm to high plank)

4 Plank Jacks

6 Mountain Climbers

8 Shoulder Taps

10 Saws

We didn’t time it, but it felt like about 5 minutes of holding plank and everyone’s shoulders were pretty much done.

Round 3

2 Manmakers, 2 tricep push ups, 2 star jumps

Repeat with 4 reps of each, 6 reps of each, 8 reps of each, and then 10 reps of each. After finishing 10, take a lap instead of the stairs.

We didn’t have time to go back down from 10, but if we would have had an hour to work with, we could have done it!

We finished up with some light stretching, COT, and prayers.
