The weather felt fabulous.  Highs only in the 80’s with the shade and the cool breeze.  Perfect workout weather.  I think we are supposed to have another round of heat come through so we were excited about this one good weather day.  We were a small but mighty crew.  We showed up and got it done.

Warm up:

static stretches of arms, back, legs

The Thang:

We did 2 circuits of 10 exercises each with 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds to rest/set up for the next exercise.  We went through each circuit twice.

Circuit 1

bicep curls

jumping jacks

push ups

high knees

big girl sit ups

mountain climbers

squats

front kicks

supermans

Russian Twists

Circuit 2

bent over rows

froggers

overhead press

jump rope

pike crunches

lunges

tricep kickbacks

side shuffle

reverse crunches

seal jacks

We prayed for Partly Cloudy’s family with the loss of her grandmother, Sporty’s niece who has some severe health issues, and those traveling for fall break next week.
