Bundled up so much we all looked like marshmallows, we took on the bitter cold morning with a few grumbles. The warm up included arm circles, high knees, through the tunnels and out of desperation, a quick run around the parking lot.
In continuing the FIA Olympic theme, we were given the timed workout. Everyone timed themselves and we started with these exercises:
100 squats, 90 Mtn Climbers, 80 Jumping Jacks, 70 flutter kicks, 60 Rosalitias, 50 Step Ups, 40 Sit ups, 30 Push ups, 20 V ups, and 10 Plank Shoulder Taps. After each exercise we filled it in with 10 burpees. We called this a Death Camp! A few of did high knees instead of burpees and a few other alternate exercises but I think Dr. Dolittle and Chocolate Chip finished first. Congratulations, we all get medals! 🙂
With 7 min left, I had originally planned See You When I See You, instead we did a quick version of 4 corners to finish out. It was a cold morning but I wouldn’t change it for the world to hang out and work out with these awesome inspiring ladies!
