It was another warmish morning and 3 of us got together for a post-Thanksgiving beatdown. We still have leftovers but in my opinion it was the perfect time to bring back the 12 Days of Christmas for this one. We warmed up with arm circles and TTT on your own and other light stretches. Then we got right into the heart of the workout.

The Thang – so just like the song we started at Day 1 and worked our way up to the 12th day, repeating what had come before with each verse.

1 Burpee

2 Star jumps

3 Bear squats

4 Bourbons

5 Jumping jacks

6 Around the Worlds

7 In & Outs

8 Walking lunges

9 High knees

10 Ab toe reaches

11 Imperial Squat Walkers

12 Push-ups

When we finished the whole set, we ran a lap and then got ready for the rest.

28 Reps of Other Things – this beatdown is an hour long so I had to add more time and given that today was the 28th of November, everything else became 28 reps.

Round 1

Arms – bicep curls

Legs – Hillbillies (sets)

Abs – LBCs

Cardio – Pick Me ups (we stopped at around 18 sets as we were feeling these very well by then)

Ran a lap

Round 2

Arms – Tricep kickbacks

Legs – fire hydrants (sets)

Abs – Russian Twists (sets)

Cardio – Christmas Can-can (this goes with the Straight No Chaser song; during the chorus you do the can-can kick line and then during the verses, you can do imperial walkers, toy soldiers, or some other move in time with the beat)

We then did COT and NOR to finish out our morning. Thanks for joining me ladies! Always a great way to start the day!
