18 lovely PAX showed up to support me in my long overdue VQ!

warmup: jump rope, toy soldiers, pulse squats, and some Michael Phelps

the (attempted) Thang:

To continue the warmup and get our blood pumping, we started off with Catch Me If You Can with partners running backward as their counterpart did 8 squats and then sprinted to catch them.

We joined back up to work our way through 8 round of 8 sets of 8 arm exercises: merkins, dumbbells rows (sets), shoulder press, bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, reverse flys, hammer curls, and tricep extension— we are well into tank top season ladies!!  💪 We didn’t finish all… put a pause on that to move on to…


Shaun T’s 8 count abs— if you’ve ever done ‘Cize, this is the accompanying an workout. And call me crazy but I think it’s fun! Technical difficulties and questionable leadership led this to be a bit of a cluster 🤣😉, but I hope everyone was laughing. Basically it’s 10 minutes of crazy ab work including: plank, plank walk, “quick quick slow canoe,” in and outs, some weird hand dancy thing, Childs pose thrown in for relief… you name it. It will show up again in a form more relatable to a group.

With a few minutes left we did a bag o legs, then gathered for COT and Name-o-Rama. Thanks all for coming to support me, I’ve got an amazon order in for a better speaker now!
