Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. That is the motto for the 6 pm workouts at this time of year. Normally at The Rock we are in the shade but today we were all over the place which put us in the sun much more than usual. My 2 sidekicks stuck it out with me and we survived. We started with a few stretches, windmills (IC), and some side twists.
Corner 1 – Abs
In & Outs, Russian Twists, Big Girl Sit Ups
Ran to Corner 2 – Arms
Around the Worlds, Tricep Kickbacks, Front Raises
Side Shuffled to Corner 3 – Legs
Calf Raises, Curtsy Lunges (total not sets), narrow squats
Power Skip to Corner 4 – Cardio
Skaters (total), Star Jumps, Jumprope
Side shuffled back to Corner 1
First round we did 30 of all, second round 20, and third round 10 (skipping cardio as we moved on to Route 66).
Route 66 around the light poles with squats. Starting with one squat at the first light pole, run to the next & do 2 squats, all the way to 11 light poles. We checked the Bingo Box.
