No one likes counting reps these days so I planned a tabata to celebrate my 50th birthday. We warmed up with some stretches and jogging in place or jump ropes while I explained the plan.
The Thang – We did each exercise for 50 seconds and then had 10 seconds to rest and switch to the next exercise. There were 3 rounds that we then repeated.
Round 1 – upright rows, tricep kickbacks, OH press, bicep curls, Moroccan Nt Clubs
Round 2 – LBCs, starfish, reverse crunches, bicycles, leg lifts
Round 3 – donkey kicks, fire hydrants, calf raises, imperial walkers, curtsy lunges
In between rounds we ran from one side of the covered walkway to the other entrance and back just to keep us moving.
Before we repeated we threw Squat Sally in the mix because it was also “Love Your Thighs” day!
Always blessed to start my day with my FiA sisters, but even more so today as I earned my first “Respect” during COT and NOR. So grateful for all of you! Thank you for the gifts and coffeteria time too!
