Somehow when I was planning a beatdown last week for Foxtrot I forgot to check for the fun national holidays like I usually do. When I looked to plan the Grove beatdown I saw I had missed World Chocolate Day, so that became the focus for the Grove. Then the storms came in and we canceled that beatdown. Finally today I got to bring this amazing chocolate-themed workout to the Lair. We warmed up by spelling CHOCOLATE with 10 reps each exercise with no sets.

The Thang – I came up with a list of exercises based on some feedback from Pax about favorite and least favorite ones. There were 4 categories – Milk, White, Dark, and Unsweet – and the exercises “matched” the categories, with the unsweet one including the burpees, inch worms, etc. Take a look at the board picture for the whole list.
We took turns running to the bucket (set by the flag pole) that had slips of paper with the categories on it. We started at the top of each category and worked our way down the list depending on the slip of paper each Pax brought back on their trip to the bucket. While one person was running to get a slip, the rest of us did the exercise from the previous runner. Given the humidity we took water breaks each time we made it all the way around the circle; there were 10 of us so we were ready for a breath and water by then.
We finished with a couple minutes left so we did a final quick lap and then moved on to COT and NOR. Thanks for joining me ladies and Caliente we thank you for the hilarious pictures of you sticking your tongue out! (Check the slack Lair channel for those!)
