Today marks the 12th anniversary of the unexpected loss of my dad and people told me that it’ll take time to grieve and heal. They were wrong, I need Gods love and my FiA beatdowns. Remembering to put on Gods armor helps me in so many ways, I felt it was appropriate to transfer that thought into my beatdown this evening.
We start with a warm up Indian run/walk. Then quickly moved into that thang and put in all our armor. We did 25 reps each exercise.
Helmet of Salvation – skull crushers, dying bugs, around the worlds and hallelujahs
Breastplate of Righteousness- butterflies, rows, shoulder taps and chest presses
Belt of Truth- torso twists, BGSs, bicycles and hip dips
Gospel of Peace – squats, standing leg raises, calf raises and step ups
Shield of Faith – donkey kicks, ground taps, squat hold with cross punches and jump ropes
Sword of the Spirit – bicep curls, seal claps, axe chops and Y raises
We ran a little over the time as we finished up with COT and prayer and we got to name our FNG and her daughter. Welcome FNG Bluebell and her 2.0 Elsa. After further investigation we now know there is already a Bluebell and we will have to rename her at her next beatdown. Thank you Stitches for prayer and thank you ladies for showing up. It was extra special today since Heathy Momma has returned, we have all been missing her so much 🥰
