Today is “National Have a Bad Day” Day. Why on earth is that a thing, you ask? Well it’s actually a neat idea…..it involves the belief that if you allow yourself to have one totally bad day, where you sulk and moan and groan and complain and feel sorry for yourself, that you can release all the negative energy so that the rest of your days are even better.
So for my “bad day” I chose a whole workout of things I hate. First we warmed up. I don’t like warming up. We did 10 each of Jumping Jacks, Windmills and TTTs in cadence. Then we started our tabata of 1 minute on, 10 seconds off. We did sets of 5 exercises then ran a lap. I don’t like running.
Around the Worlds
Carolina Dry Docks
Set 4: PAX Choice – Everyone had to name a least favorite exercise for us to do.
Ramsey – Side Planks
Homeland – J-Los
Kodak – Jumping Lunges
Sugar Momma – Leg Lifts
After this we did a round of Captain Thor – 1 BGS, 4 Russian Twists….then 2 BGS and 8 Russian Twists….increasing until you get to 10 BGS and 40 Russian Twists. I don’t so much dislike these exercises, but we all always get mixed up on these 1:4 counts.
Lastly, we finished with that b*tch Sally.
And a bad day was had by all!
