I apologize to anyone who headed to Etowah this morning and may not have seen the slack or Facebook post from around 6:20 AM where we changed the location back to Creekview. The Wing and Rock Festival was happening at Etowah (Thanks to Whole Coconut for the heads up) and we may not have been able to get into the park. So rather than try and have to come up with something last minute, we moved The Pack back to Creekview. And it was a wonderful sight to behold as we rolled into the parking lot. Two hot air balloons were launching! Check out the pics below!
Anchor had encouraged a friend to come and she did so welcome to Stephanie Walent who loves dragons and thus we named her Astrid from the How to Train your Dragon series. (It’s a great set of movies so check it out if you’ve not seen them). We prayed for some friends going through health situations, too, and then got our miles going.
Some got more miles in than others (way to go Megaphone on her longest run since COVID) and some had obligations to get to right after, but all had a great time of running, walking, chatting, and laughing. Thanks for coming out ladies!
