What a glorious morning for a long run! The sun was on the rise, the temps were tolerable and the humidity was not awful yet. The Pack is in its new home through the summer at Etowah River Park and the scenery and miles did not disappoint.
It was awesome to not only welcome an FNG but to also see some very missed familiar faces! After a quick COT + Name-o-Rama, we all set out on the trails for miles. Chinchilla and Smooth Operator got a jump on the morning with a 6 am start while others started at 6:30 and ran the gamut of distances and paces. There was a super fast, 5K+ PR by Partly Cloudy, a long 9+ miler by Chinchilla, and quite a few 5-8+ milers by Domino, Smooth Operator, Yellow Tulip, Southern Charm, Inspector Gadget, Anchor, Elevation and Whole Coconut.
I look forward to more miles with you awesome ladies through the summer and hope you all enjoy running in the park as much as I did!
