The plan was set and it was AWESOME! Christmas trivia combined with a beatdown – what could be better?? Well, I guess for some sleep was better (just teasing), so we modified the plan a bit for today. Creative beatdowns are not my thing but this one will come around again for sure.
We warmed up with some arm circles, windmills, and figured out how to work the beatdown minus the trivia game.
There were four colors and exercises that corresponded to each color. The consensus was to go through all of one color and then take a lap and come back and complete another color and a lap and so on.
Around the Worlds (20 reps)
Tricep kickbacks (25 reps)
Bicep curls (30 reps)
Overhead press (35 reps)
Leg Lifts (25)
Reverse crunches (30)
Russian twists (35 sets)
Star jumps (20)
jump rope (25)
Jumping Jacks (30)
Mountain climbers (35 sets)
Curtsy lunges (20 each leg)
Hillbillies (30 sets)
Imperial squat walkers (35 sets)
Once we got through all 4 colors, we then went back through with each PAX choosing a colored bow from the Santa hat and choosing one exercise from that color’s list. Kodak chose the red bow and selected overhead press again so we did 35 more of those. Domino chose the gold bow and selected 25 squats. That left the green and silver for me and I chose mountain climbers (35 sets) and leg lifts (25).
We moved on to bat wings (keeping your arms up for the duration of a song) for Joy To The World with hallelujahs, Moroccan night clubs, arm circles, and some more hallelujahs to finish the song.
Our final song was the Christmas Can Can with hillbillies and CanCan kicks during the chorus. I forgot to get a picture but we remembered COT. Thanks for joining me Kodak and Domino!!! You made it super fun for me today!
