4 fantastic ladies joined me for a slightly warmer Saturday at the Grove. It felt like spring was around the corner as we started the workout with the sun already coming out.
We started off warming up with some arm and leg swings and just some general warming up.
The Thang! It my head it was all about 12’s because it was the 12th of February, but little did I realize it was a dirty dozen. We did 12 exercises with 12 reps of each exercise. My 2.0 had a lot of input with some her favorite exercises and the suggestion of a lot of running.
Round 1
Push-ups
Fire Hydrants (12 each side)
Around the worlds
Windshield Wipers (sets)
Run to the stop sign and back
Round 2
Sumo Squats
Calf raises
Bicep curls to overhead press
Penguins
Run to the stop sign and back
Round 3
Glute Bridges
Crock-pot squats
Narrow squat to kick back
Overhead triceps
Run to the stop sign and back
We went through all 3 round twice. For the third time around we bumped up the reps to 22 and made it through rounds 1 and 2. We finished off with a little ab song challenge.
It was to the song Hustle by Pink. We sat in a V sit and pulsed or arms, then every time she said Hustle we did an in and out. It was the first time I tried this challenge and it was just that!
We ended with a COT, prayers, and names and then went on our way for our busy Saturday. Thank you ladies for joining me!
