On this beautiful cold morning I decided to keep it simple and do a deck of cards. We had five PAX show up, including myself, and got ready to sweat! But first we warmed up with stretches, toy soldiers (in cadence) and run a lap.
Hearts = Merkins
Spades = Monkey Humpers
Diamonds = BGS
Clubs = Plank shoulder taps (each side)
All face cards were 11 of sign plus 1 burpee
Ace = run a lap
Jokers = 15 of players choice
I shuffled the deck. We took turns, pulling a card and doing the exercises together. We were all sweaty and worn out by the end BUT we managed to make it through all 54 cards and still have time to cool down! Way to go ladies!
just for fun, I added up the total number of exercises; 87 each of merkins, monkey humpers, bgs, and shoulder taps! Plus 12 burpees and 6 laps if you include the warm up and bonus lap! What?! What?!
