Today we celebrated my 1 year FiAversary!!! What better way to start than with a pre-beatdown 90’s Vibe 5K. No celebration would be complete of course unless you have a squirrel steal a donut while everyone was running/walking/rucking, lol.

I chose the deck of death since that’s the workout at my first beatdown that was led by Inspector Gadget. There were exercises assigned to the face of the cards and the number on the card is the number of sets/reps.

Diamonds – Gun Show

Club – Figure 4 Squats

Hearts – Crab Cake

Spades – Donkey Kicks

Jacks – 5 sets/reps of all 4 exercises

King/Queen – 10 sets/reps of all 4 exercises

Aces – 15 sets/reps of all 4 exercises

Joker – Captain Thor (1:4 ratio of sit ups and Russian twists till you reached 10 sit ups and 40 Russian twists.)

We were able to get a walk in between rounds. We were able to complete 3 rounds ending with a Captain Thor and some much needed full body stretching.

There was COT, Name-O-Rama and a picture followed by some treats and coffee! I even had a surprise visit from the FiA sister who named me… Shrinky Dink it was so nice to see you.
