Despite it being a rainy Tuesday during Cherokee county’s winter break, 7 PAX joined me at the Hideout for a fun rainy day card game.
We warmed up with arm circles forward, arm circles backward, Michael Phelps, high knees, toy soldiers (IC) & through the tunnels (IC).
After we warmed up we got started on the Thang (Deck of Death). I passed out a card to each PAX for 3 rounds & we did 18 reps of the exercise that corresponded with the suit on the card. Not gonna lie, I was cursing myself a little for “keeping it simple” with 18 reps each time after all those Carolina Dry Docks, Jumping Jacks & Shoulder Taps. For details on the rest of the exercises we did check out the board in the pic below.
We finished all 3 rounds with enough time for 4 for the Core & some stretching. In 4fC, we held each exercise for 1 minute with 15 seconds in between for 7 minutes total of a core burning routine. Then we circled up for some prayers & Name-o-Rama.
Reminder: On Saturday Feb 29th, all of FiA will converge at the Hideout at 8:30a for the “She Believed She Could So She Did” 4 mile leap year run/walk/ruck.
