11 PAX running & walking with The Pack on this beautifully clear Sunday morning. The wind was wonderfully low so that was a blessing. We all gathered at 7:00 AM at Etowah River Park. We did our nameorama, we said a quick prayer after we all made it to the circle, and we took a picture.
The sun was not up yet so we took two laps around the park and parking lot while a beautiful sunrise filled the sky. Once the sun was up we ventured down the new paved running trail that runs along the river. It’s such a nice trail that we are so excited to add to our running options. Some of us went to the end and some of us went about half way. We walked and ran 4.2 miles with Diggity Dog for her 42nd birthday. A few of us ran 5 and 6 miles.
We finished our miles and gathered together again. We then pulled out all the coffee, creamers, snacks, and Diggity Dog’s birthday presents. She is very loved. We sang Happy Birthday to her and did a little break dancing. (You had to be there to understand, haha.) We had a lot of fun and wonderful conversation. It was a great morning.
