Leap Day happens only once every four years so it’s a pretty special occasion! In honor of this rare event, FiA Cherokee came together for a 4-mile run/walk/ruck Convergence event at The Hideout!
Quite a few folks also registered for the “She Believed She Could” Virtual race for swag and support of a charity benefitting a charity for women and girls.
It was a sunny, crisp morning out at the Hideout. Despite the chill, the laughter and fellowship kept us warm. The course through the lots was loosely planned, but choose-your-own-adventure worked just fine and everyone conquered 4 miles with lots of smiles. There were some PRs mentioned on the course and no one got lost!!
We shared a COT, announcements and Name-o-Rama plus a 4-prize Bingo giveaway. The food, coffee, and post event chatter was great!
