What a fun morning we had!!  We had 14 PAX come in their Red and Blue for some fun FiA Olympics.  We warmed up with a couple stretches while I gave everyone the details of the first ever FiA Olympics.

We started off with the Eye Contact Challenge.  We got in a big circle, assumed the air chair position, with our heads down.  I counted 1, 2, 3, Up and on “up”, PAX look up at another PAX.  If you lock eyes, you both are out.  So you have to look at a person, but you hope they are looking at someone else and not back at you.  This is a fun one!  Hallmark and All Spice won this challenge and avoided all eye contact!

Lexirades came next!  We split into 3 teams and PAX took turns drawing and acting out exercises. Team FiA OGs won this one.

Next up was the dizzy bat challenge.  We formed two teams, lined up, and relayed!  PAX used a pretend bat (thanks corona) and spun around twice, then sprinted to the cones and back.  It was a pretty close race!

Next we did the Crabwalk Challenge!  We put on our gloves, formed heats of 4-5 and got to crab walking.  Whole Coconut won her heat.  Hallmark won her heat.  And Mater won her heat.  So the 3 winners raced against each other.  Poor WC had the curve.  Mater and Hallmark were so fast!  I’m pretty sure they crossed the finish line at the same time.

After that, we ran over to The Wall for the Wall Sit Challenge.  These ladies killed it.  I jokingly said the goal was 5 minutes.  Five Star, Wilson, Anchor, and Smooth Operator made 5 minutes look like a piece of cake!  Anchor made it 8 minutes!!!

Water Balloon Tic Tac Toe was next.  Geez, these girls are competitive even in Tic Tac Toe!!  Xs won two rounds.

Last, but not least, we did Stand Up Cup.  Killa, Mater, Choo Choo, and yours truly, Partly Cloudy, stood up, no hands, with even wobbling our cups!

At this point our time was up, sadly.  I think everyone would have loved to keep going.  But, children needed to get to school.  We took a pic, prayed, did our name-o-Rama and called it.

I had created an exercise list for PAX to work through during Lexirades and while waiting.  But, everyone was so into cheering each other on, we didn’t really use it.  PAX kept it moving with jumping jacks, toe taps, lunges, and running in place.  Not our typical Beatdown, but so much laughing and so much fun was exactly what we needed!
