It was a dark and humid morning. We committed to doing all of the hard FiA Olympic events, so that is exactly what we did. We warmed up with a 30-second Tabata timer, doing arm circles, gorilla swings, windmills, jump ropes, butt kicks, and PAX choice.
First up was 5 minutes of Burpees. Dr. Doolittle crushed it with 68!!
Next was the bear crawl crab walk race. We divided into 2 heats. We bear crawled down and crab walked back to the cones.
We moseyed over to the outhouse to try to play Keep It Up, which was actually really hard! None of us could keep that tissue up.
We moved back to the lanes for a broad jump burpee race. Wonder Woman knocked that one out of the park!
Then we did the 100 meter sprint. Dr. Doolittle made it in 14 seconds. In the second heat, which I didn’t time since I was running in it, Straight Shooter flew by me like a professional sprinter. None of us could keep up with her, though Shrinky Dink was close!
Last but not least we did The Olympic Rings of fire. We started with glute bridges/ leg lifts, then did LBCs/ American pie sit ups, the chair/jump squats.
We completed 5 full minutes of stretching to check off a Bingo box and circled up. Thank you for showing up, even with the burpees. You ladies are the best!
