It was a fabulous morning at the Den with the Pack! 6 beautifully strong ladies met to pound the pavement before the sun even thought about getting out of bed. 🙂 5 of us jingled our way to checking off a bingo box (Run/Walk a 5k With Jingle Bells On) and we are all 3.1 miles closer to the nuthouse having run with jingle bells.
Piles of mile: EVERYONE clocked 3.1+ – close to 20 miles for the group this morning. What a way to kick off the weekend! And a special welcome to Domino who ran with the Pack for the first time today!
Today I was reminded of the beauty of FiA. Smiling faces, laughter, hearing “you guys made me shave a minute and a half off my pace!”, and “this is fun!” really made my heart happy. We circled up and prayed for our fallen sister Digits, and her family in a trying time of grief. These types of prayers remind me that time is precious and prayer is powerful. FiA brings us together and there’s no doubt in my mind that it’s a God thing! It’s so much more than “working out” and I am so thankful to be a part of such an amazing tribe.
