So, the die hard gals showed up this morning at Foxtrot for some fun in the flurries! And flurries we had! Along with gusting winds, cold bitter air and each other! We warmed up quickly in order to keep the blood flowing. Then we broke up into two teams. Beakers and Pilgrim took on Inspector Gadget and Bravo.
Lexirades was the game of the morning.
Mats at one end of the parking lot (no cars were around as we were safely off in the lot that no one parks or drives through) and halfway down were two buckets holding index cards. One PAX would run to their bucket, pick up an index card, run back to their partner and then act out the exercise listed on the card. Together the team would complete 15 reps of each exercise before the other team member ran for a new exercise card. We continued this until time was up. Team Inspector Gadget and Bravo edged the others out and completed 32 exercises total!
We ended with a prayer, COT, names and then coffeeteria from the trunk of Pilgrim’s car. Yep – we did it our way this morning! Pictures below trying to show the flurries. Some are better than others. It was a fun morning, although cold, fun overall!
