When I was thinking about today’s workout I had one thing in mind – how can we stay warm the whole workout? As usual, the answer is cardio!
We warmed up with some arm circles, michael phelps, toy soldiers and thru-the-tunnels.
We did 4 rounds of exercises – arms, then legs, then abs, then booties. For each round, there were 5 exercises, done for 1 minute each. To stay warm, I added 30 seconds of cardio in between each exercise. The same cardio move was done for the whole round. At the end of a round, we ran a lap before moving on to the next round.
The picture shows which exercises we did, but by Round 4 most of us were plenty warm so most of us opted to hold plank for 30 seconds between exercises rather than do the mountain climbers listed.
We finished with NOR, COT and a quick prayer, then carried on with our sunny, brisk days. Thanks ladies!
