It’s Groundhog Day!
Warm up: We warmed using the date as inspiration… 2 laps run/walk forward and backwards, 2 minutes of planks (30sec/1min/30sec), 20 Michael Phelps, 22 Side Stretches
Like the movie Groundhog Day, we had a set of exercises that we did over, and over, and over, and over again for 10 minutes each set 🙂
UP: 20 Standing Torso Twists, 20 Boxing Punches, 20 Imperial Walkers, 20 Lunges
DOWN: 20 Chest Press, 20 Narwhals, 20 Shoulder Taps, 20 Rainbows
We took 2 laps between the sets and finished the morning with a song challenge inspired from Dr. Doolittle’s beat down earlier in the morning- Chumbawamba’s Tubthumping. We did burpees every time they said “ I get knocked down” and hillbillies the rest of the time.
We ended with prayer and names, and then we went on our way!
