I had 5 PAX join me this morning for a Thursday morning Foxtrot beatdown. 2 PAX started a little early too to get in some pre-beatdown steps. I had planned to join them but overslept a little so I only made it in time for the beatdown. The PAX may not agree but I’m so glad I woke up with enough time to make it to the beatdown & not sleep through another Q. The weather was perfect this morning & the company was even better!

Warm-Up: Would You Rather? ~30s each

  1. Seal Claps vs Overhead Claps
  2. High Knees vs Butt Kickers
  3. Toy Soldiers vs Through the Tunnels
  4. Praying Mantis vs Crock Pot Squats
  5. Jumping Jacks vs Speed Skaters

~Run a lap

For the Thang we completed 4 rounds of a partner AMRAP for 6 minutes each round.  The way it worked is there were 2 exercises per round with each partner doing a different exercise. Partner 1 started with 10 reps of one exercise while partner 2 completed as many reps as possible of another exercise until partner 1 finished her 10 reps. Then the partners switched. And they kept switching the entire 6 minutes.

The exercises each round were as follows:

  1. Round 1: 10 Jungle Boi Squats & Scarecrows
  2. 10 Bourbons (total) & Reverse Crunches
  3. 10 Hand Release Merkins & Curtsy Lunges
  4. 5 Burpees & Mountain Climbers

After we completed the first three rounds we ran a big lap. After the last round we finished up with 10 more burpees together to make sure we could cross off that 31 burpees bingo box & walked or jogged the short lap.

We gathered together for a picture then circled up for COT & Name-O-Rama. We had a major praise today as we celebrated Mark being 100% cancer free! Thanks for sharing the wonderful news with us this morning Shrinky Dink! So happy for Mark, you & your entire family!!
