We had 7 on the 7th and it was a good morning for miles. We shifted course a bit to avoid the football team coming in early and safely grabbed our Fri-yay miles.
Our mood to begin was heavy, bearing the weight of a week filled with stress, anxiety, worry, and juggling life. We prayed for those fighting Covid, recovering from injuries, struggling with other diseases, and all our community.
My pre-blast included the definition of a “runfie” which is a selfie about running. When I look at the picture we took, it definitely meets the definition of a display of strength, will power, love, support, and determination. Words like speed and distance are lost in a picture like this because they don’t matter. What matters is the sisterhood on display that’s lifting, encouraging and supporting in challenging times.
By the time our runs were over we were centered, focused, and ready to tackle the day ahead. We drove away a little stronger and a little lighter. ♥️
