BackBlast:

Despite the nasty weather, 9 beautiful ladies showed up this morning to get swoll with me.

The Warm Up:
We started with a new song challenge that I made up. No Scrubs by TLC. You hold chair pose doing small pulses to the beat of the music throughout the whole song. Each time they say “No” you do a Bob Hurley jump. Each time they say “Scrub” you do a burpee. That’s 51 Bob Hurleys and 30 Burpees! It was a bit rough at the end, but I think it worked out pretty well. Only thing is now I can’t seem to get that song out of my head!! Lol!

Once we were done with that, we stretched our legs out a little bit then got started on our Ladders.

The Thang:
Ladder 1
– 10 Push Ups
– 20 Monkey Humpers
– 30 Russian Twists – sets
– 40 Sumo Squats
– 50 Jumping Jacks
– 60 Bicep Curls

Since it was pretty much pouring outside, we just did a small run in a loop under the awning. Once back at our mats, we repeated the exercises starting at 60 reps and working back to 10. Then we repeated the run at the end and started on Ladder 2.

Ladder 2:
– 10 Burpees
– 20 Plank Jacks
– 30 Fire Hydrants while holding Bear
– 40 Lunges – Sets
– 50 Flutter Kicks – Sets
– 60 Tricep Kickbacks

Time was running out so we only got to go up Ladder #2 and do our quick run.

We circled up, prayed, and got on with our day. Thanks for braving the storms to be with me this morning, ladies! #BetterTogether
