Happy LOVE PEOPLE DAY!!! So, I didn’t know this was a thing until yesterday, but I love this day already! A day focused on random acts of kindness just to spread a little extra love in the world? YES, PLEASE!
So, 9 PAX braved the chilly morning this morning to come spread a little “Love People” happiness and spend some much loved FiA time together. We did some light warmups…the usual, because I have no imagination with warmups…arm circles, Michael Phelps and jumping jacks. And then we moved into the thang.
LOVE PEOPLE – PAX did exercise 1, ran a loop, exercise 1 and 2, ran a loop, exercise 1-3, ran a loop, etc.
- L – 10 LBCs
- O – 10 Overhead Press
- V – 10 V-Ups
- E – 10 Elevated Merkins
- P – 10 Plank Jacks
- E – 10 Elevated Calf Raises
- O – 10 Overhead Tricep Extensions
- P – 10 Plank Up/Downs (Sets)
- L – 10 Lunges (Sets)
- E – Everest (100 Mountain Climbers, Total)
This wound up being the perfect timing for a 45 minute beatdown! We did two laps at the end, finishing us up at 2 miles of running in the beatdown.
Afterwards we circled up for COT and Name-O-Rama. Instead of prayer today, we everyone named one random act of kindness they plan on doing today. Ideas ranged from bringing a friend breakfast or coffee to bringing in a neighbor’s trash can from the street to thanking the veterans they work with for their service. Just a little love…it doesn’t have to cost money…but it can brighten someone’s day in ways you may never know.
