With Covid on the rise and the county shutting down the schools our group had to think quick and set up a temporary location, then add the needs of covering due to rain and lighting since it still gets dark early and our leaders worked together quickly to secure a temporary temporary location! Tonight’s beatdown for The Rock was actually held at the tennis court pavilion at Fox Trot. We were all so grateful to still be able to come together and celebrate FiAs 8th birthday!
That Thang: To honor the FiA celebration our group completed 3 rounds of The Kraken using the following stations: Merkins, Heel beats, Donkey Kicks, Axe Chops, Torso Twists, Heismans, Jump Ropes, and squats. In true Kraken form we started at 20 reps each then decreased by 5 each round with a short lap in between every exercise. After the 3rd round we decided to do a Bag of Abs and a Sally.
It may have been cold and wet but I’m proud of each PAX for not only showing up but working up a sweat! My speaker wasn’t the only thing leaving the beatdown with “low battery” lol
We circled up and thanked God for another workout and prayed for our kiddos and parents who are adjusting to new learning and working conditions, for our law enforcement and our country, and so many other things. Announcements, Name-O-Rama and a pictures wrapped the beatdown.
