BackBlast:

8 beautiful women (inside and out) met me at the Union this morning to get their weeks started off right!  There was a cooler breeze in the air, but the GA summer humidity was strong, and there to greet us too.

We started off with some stretching while everyone got settled, and I went ahead and explained how we were going to get 3 bingo boxes checked off in one beatdown!  The plan was to check off the boxes for Route 66, 31 squats/merkins/BGSUPs/Bicep Curls, and Run/Walk/Ruck a 5k.  Spoiler alert…we crushed all 3!!

Since no one wants to do Route 66 at the end of a workout, we got started with it right away.  11 light posts, 66 burpees, and a lot of running got it done. Check!

Then onto our bingo for the 31’s.  We partnered up and accomplished this one in meet in the middle style.  One partner would run to the left and make the large loop of the parking lot, while the other partner would run right to the front parking lot loop.  As they rounded back up towards their mats, they would meet and run back to the start together.  Then on to the exercises.  Each group had a cone with a list of the exercises.  We approached this part as an accumulator.  Start with 5 of each of the listed exercises, and then switch running directions (go to the front if just ran the large loop, or go to the big loop if just ran the front loop).  When the partners met back at the start, they would do 10 of each exercise, and then switch running directions again.  We went 5, 10, 15, 20.  Then we went back down with 20, 15, 10, 5 and at the end the partners ran a full loop of both lots to finish with 3.1+ miles!  Check and check!

Every single PAX worked hard this morning, and did amazing!  I was super proud of how strong they are! Wow!

We circled up and did COT.  Praying for all Moms who are struggling with the decisions of the upcoming school year, as well as the daily roller coasters we are all on.  We prayed for Fancy Boots as she is healing and getting stronger so she can have surgery either today or tomorrow.  Please pray hard for her and her Doctors.  Also lifting up any unspoken prayers of our FiA sisters, and for God to help remind us that he has his hands in every single thing, every single day.  His love and grace is beyond all measure.

Next was Name-o-rama.  Welcome to our FNG, Southern A!!  We loved meeting you and hope to see you back at the Union soon!
