We had a wonderful group of 8 PAX that decided to meet at 6:30 AM this morning instead of the usual time of 5:30 AM. I had music playing and balloons flying. We gathered, rolled our mats out and started our warm ups.
Warm-Ups – Light Stretching, Toy Soldiers, Windmills and Kangaroos
The Thang –
We had the workout “MURPH” on the books for the day.
1 mile run – 100 pull-ups – 200 push-ups – 300 squats – 1 mile run
We ran 1/2 a mile at the beginning prior to the rounds or exercises. 2 laps around the parking lots.
Then we did 5 rounds of exercises to break it up.
20 – Weighted Overhead Presses
40 – Push-Ups
60 – Squats
1/4 mile run – after each set
It was a brutal and great workout. We then took a few pictures, had some coffee and laughed/chatted with each other. We started our day off together and in the right way. We honored a true hero with our workout and celebrated our grit and determination to get it done together. It was a wonderful morning. I am so glad I was able to be with you ladies this morning.
