This is what I like to see at The Valley…Cars in the parking lot!! Yay!! Because that meant (5) PAX joined me for a Christmas Eve, Grinch themed, beatdown! We can’t forget about The Grinch at Christmastime!!
First we warmed up with some light OYO stretching while giving a couple PAX time to join us..I started off by asking if anyone knew how old The Grinch was… According to several Google searches & movie watching he was 53! That was going to determine how many reps we did until I looked at what we had to do!! So I scratched that & opted for AMRAP/53 seconds per exercise. They were as follows..
T – Tricep kickbacks *Ran a lap
H – Happy Jacks *Ran a lap
E – Elbow Plank *Ran a lap
**In order for our heart rate to “grow” we did Bat Wings in between the words.
G – Goblet Squat *Ran a lap
R – Reverse Crunch *Ran a lap
I – Inchworms *Ran a lap
N – Narrow Squats *Ran a lap
C – Curtsy Lunges *Ran a lap
H – Hallelujahs *Ran a lap
We managed to finish one whole round with about 8 min to spare so we dug into my Bag of Abs as each one of us took turns drawing a popsicle stick with an exercise & reps. We did some OYO stretches before COT & Name 0 Rama. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy your family & remember the reason for the season! Happy Birthday Jesus!
