Merry Christmas Eve! The 24th of December is my favorite day! It is still a day of anticipation and preparation. And it was just that much better starting the day off with my FiA ladies.
We warmed with with 24 seconds of each of the following:
With our bodies warm and heart rates up, we got started on The Thang – Super 24. This is the same thing as super 21. But, since today was the 24th…we had to modify it.
We started at our mats with 1 push up and 1 bicep curl. We ran down the parking lot to the cones and did 1 squat and 1 monkey jumper. Then we ran back to our mats. That was 1 round. Next, we did it again with 2 reps of each. Then 3 reps, then 4, then 5, then 6.
We paused after our 6th round for an ab break. We did 24 of each of the following:
LBCs, Bicycles, Cross Crunches Left, Cross Crunches Right, and Pilates Pumps.
Then we went back to our Super 24, picking up at 7 and continuing until 12. We stopped after the 12th round for another ab break. Same exercises. Then we continued accumulating, with rounds 13-18. After 18, the paused for Abs again. Then kept going. We ran out of time before we reached 24 unfortunately.
We circled up and prayed for joy, health, patience, and peace. Then we closed with our name-o-Rama and some chatter.
We decided to continue our fellowship over at Starbucks. It was my new favorite way to kick off Christmas Eve! I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, safe travels, and good health!
