Boy, things were hoping at The Valley today!! 3 FNG’s + 5 regulars + public park = lots of 2.0’s! Yes, FiA math is confusing I know! But one thing was for sure, these mama’s came to work!! After a quick explanation of FiA & the disclaimer while we stretched it out we got right into our Merry-Go-Round beatdown that I oh so politely stole from Diggity Dog & her Union crew! Modified of coarse because who wants to do all those Burpees?? 😉
THE THANG:
My Merry-Go-Round went something like this…
1 Exercise, Run a lap… start from the beginning each time you run a lap… 1st exercise + 2nd exercise, run a lap.
*5 Merkins –>RUN *5 Merkins + 10 BGS–>RUN *5 Merkins + 10 BGS + 15 Curtsy Lunges–>RUN
*5 Merkins + 10 BGS + 15 Curtsy Lunges + 20 Tricep Kickbacks–> RUN
***Pause for a Song Challenge! Sally (Squats)! Are you even a FiA sister if you’ve never done Sally?? lol..I think it’s a right of passage at this point! >side note< If I am ever a Q & we have an FNG….we will be doing Sally! >>insert crazy face emoji<< ….We picked up right where we left off…
*5 Merkins + 10 BGS + 15 Curtsy Lunges + 20 Tricep Kickbacks + 25 LBC–RUN *5 Merkins + 10 BGS + 15 Curtsy Lunges +20 Tricep Kickbacks + 25 LBC + 30 Calf Raises–>RUN *5 Merkins + 10 BGS + 15 Curtsy Lunges + 20 Tricep Kickbacks + 25 LBC + 30 Calf Raises + Front Lat Raises–RUN *5 Merkins + 10 BGS + 15 Curtsy Lunges + 20 Tricep Kickbacks + 25 LBC + 30 Calf Raises + 35 Front Lat Raises + 40 Russian Twists—–Song Challenge #2 – Booty Wurk – Jump pulse Lunges (4 count/to the beat), Hip Hop Squat for “Booty Wurk” hook.
That was a lot of math!! I won’t bore you with the official stats but it was lots of reps for each!! By the time we were finished my addition skills were Math + Sweat = a hotdog! Kinda like Common Core right?? Oh well, I hope our FNG’s had fun & boomerang on back because their names are FABULOUS & we loved seeing new faces!! Please welcome Alison aka Snack, Madison aka Cinderella & Andrea aka Rose`(like the wine)…we had a good time naming them after we prayed for peace, health & FiA family members & friends.
