I feel like a broken record in my backblasts these days, always starting off with “it was SO cold this morning”. But, it was. SO COLD! Thankfully, 5 PAX joined me so I wouldn’t have to brave the cold alone. We truly are better together!
I started my new found playlist – greatest hip hop songs of the 2000s and we got to work. We warmed up with one of my favorite Billy Blanks moves, the side arm stretch, then did TTTs, Touch and Hops, and Picks Ups. Once we were in our way to being warm, we started our thang: Timed Doras and Bruce Lee, two of my favorites!
Timed Doras – 5 minutes each. One person does reps, the other runs, then they switch back and forth until time is up.
1. Push Up to Knee Tuck, Runner does 1 Star Jump at the end of the lane.
2. Squat to OH Press, Runner does 2 squat jumps at the end of the lane.
3. Reverse Lunge with a bicep curl, Runner does 3 toe tap sets at the end of the lane.
4. Glute bridge + chest press, Runner does 4 monkey humpers at the end of the lane.
Bruce Lee – my favorite. We went through all abs exercises, ran, and repeated…about 4 times!
10 Leg Lifts
30 Russian Twists
We circled up at time to pray for Very Berry’s mom and Mark. Then it was cold again. So, we rushed off to find warmth. I hope the rest of your day is warm and wonderful!
