Today was a great day! So many wonderful things this morning; a killer beatdown, a new AO leader (yours truly!) and a FiA birthday!
First things first, we started with the AO handoff with Partly Cloudy passing off the duties and flag to me, with the help of Straight Shooter. SS and I are going to making an amazing team. This is going to be so awesomeeeeeee!!!!!!!

A few ladies came early to get some extra steps, Smooth Operator said no tacos for her today, she was going to give her body a rest. She did stay to walk, and kept a watchful eye over us as she continued her laps while we did the Thang.
We warmed up with some arm and neck circles, hip rotations, TTT, and Toy Soldiers. We also did 1 min high knees to check off one more on our bingo card.
The Thang –
We did a ladder workout, with 4 sets of exercises. Each set had 4 exercises. We did 10 reps of all 4, then 9, 8, 7, 6…you get the picture. After the 1st set was completed then we ran a lap. Then on to the next one. We were able to get about 3/4 done on the last set before we finished it up to stretch.

10 Donkey kicks

Smooth Operator rejoined us for COT and we sang Happy Birthday to Anchor! Happy Birthday Beautiful lady! We prayed for Hombre and his family, Shrinky Dink’s patient, for each other and our families to be protected from Covid, and for Anchor to have another blessed year. Then NOR and picture time!
