BackBlast:

Three PAX joined me this morning for  a fun workout that was all Olympic games and in FiA style! We warmed up our arms with Michael Phelps because our first event was the wall sit with arms above our heads. Order of events are below, along with the times, reps completed and winner overall. Each winning PAX was awarded a prize bag and pictures are at the end.

Wall Sit – We sat with our knees at a 90 degree angle, arms overhead.  Confection was our winner with 2 minutes 27 seconds.

Broad Jump Burpees – Starting at one cone, PAX would do a burpee (squat to plank with a push up) and then do a broad jump before the jump up in the air. They did these all the way to the second cone. Tazer was our winner.

Timed sit ups – for 5 minutes we did BGS – as many as possible. Mellie was our winner with 89 total.

Timed Froggers – for 3 minutes we performed froggers (plank to feet jump by elbows). Confection completed 52 total as our winner!

Bear crawl and crab walk race – the PAX raced from one cone to another cone in bear crawl style. Then they turned around and crab walked back to the starting line. Mellie was our winner!

Timed Plank – all PAX started in a plank and held that as long as possible. Tazer held the longest at 2 minutes 40 seconds.

Lexirades – two teams with baskets in the middle of the sidewalk. One PAX would run and grab a card out of the basket, return to the team and act out the exercise on the card to the teammate. Once the teammate guessed the exercise, everyone on the team completed 5 of those before the next teammate ran for the next card. Overall winners were Tazer and Confection.

We ended with a prayer, picture of the group and names. There were also awards for The PAX who challenged herself the most (Mellie) and the PAX who was most spirited (Confection). (Tazer picked those winners.) Fun morning ladies!
