Small and mighty – this is how I would describe the ladies who arrived at the Mill and joined me in a tabata style workout.
We started with a quick warm up of arm circles, Michael Phelps, through the tunnels in cadence and imperial walkers.
We had three rounds of tabata exercises – 30 seconds of work, 15 seconds of rest.
Round 1: squat twist, bicep curls, curtsy lunges, burpees, overhead triceps, speed skaters, Merkins, dead bugs
Round 2: plank holds, chest press, X-press, deadlifts, reverse flyes, rotator pulls, bourbons, triple beasts
Round 3: high knees, squat jacks, plank combos, iso hold side lunges, beast holds, imperial walker with squats, forward tricep push ups, cross over bicep curls
We finished all three rounds and then completed them all again!
COT, prayer, names and picture ended our morning together and we headed off for our day.
