What do YOU think of when you hear the word “dozen”?  Eggs? Donuts? Roses? Or the Dirty Dozen Tabata Timer Beatdown?  For the last 5 years, I’ve been the later! 😂

Today was the 12th, so naturally, a dirty dozen is in order.  But, first, we started off with Silly Sprints.

♦️(Donuts) = 180 Jumps

❤️ (Tabata) = Squats

♣️ (Roses) = Bicep Curls

♠️ (Eggs) = Skaters

I put playing cards in 2 piles a distance away from our mats.  Everyone picked their favorite exercise and did half of their age in reps.  Then they ran to pick up a card.  The card determines the exercise and count they do when they get back to their mats.  Then they run for another card.  We did this until we ran out of cards – roughly 7 minutes.

Next we started our Tabata timer – The Dirty Dozen.  50 seconds on, 10 seconds rest.  The 10 second test is the dirty part – it just isn’t enough rest!

6. Tricep Kickbacks

11. Curtsy Lunges

12. Plié Squat Halos

We ran a lap and did it again.  Then we ran another lap, picked one exercise, and did it for about 2 minutes until we were out of time.
It was humid, so we were dripping.  You can’t tell from our beautiful picture though! We snapped a pic and circled up!
