2023 has begun. It was a little humid tonight after the rain came thru. We warmed up fast with some stretches and jumped into our games.
First we played flip a coin. We took turns flipping a coin and if it landed on heads then we did one exercise and then tails a different one. We got majority heads but had a few tails in there also.
1 – 15 jump squats vs 25 calf raises
2 – 60 sec jog in place vs 25 jumping jacks
3 – 20 push ups vs 10 Carolina dry docks
4 – 20 flamingo bicep curls vs 30 figure 4 squats
5 – 40 high knees vs 40 butt kicks
6 – 35 lbc’s vs 20 BGSU’s
7 – 10 3 direction crunches vs 25 y raises
8 – 15 around the worlds vs 20 reverse flys
9 – 50 heel drops vs 20 supermans
10 -30 chicken wings vs 20 scarecrows
Next we moved to roll the dice. We took turns rolling the dice and the total number on the dice let us know which exercises to do. We ended up rolling 7 several times.
2 – 100 jumping jacks
2 – 30 lunges
4 – 30 high knees
5 – 15 push ups
6 – 25 lbc’s
7 – 30 squats
8 – 40 mountain climbers
9 – 40 skaters
10 – 100 jump ropes
11 – 30 butt kicks
12 – 20 front raises
Last was our deck of cards. 1-10 was the number on the cards, jacks were 11 reps, queens were 12 reps, kings were 13 reps, aces were 14 reps and jokers were 5 of each suit of cards. We noticed I didn’t have a lot of arms in the workout so we did the first few rounds with the first set of exercises and did the last with just arm exercises.
hearts were russian twists & bicep curls
clovers were fire hydrants & front raises
diamonds were jump squats & triceps
spades were push ups & overhead press
We took a lap between each game and one at the end before ending with COT and nameorama.
