Despite the potential for bad weather (which didn’t happen thank goodness), we had a total of 9 PAX come out this morning to beat the rain & join me for a Pretty in Pink themed beatdown. We celebrated national pink day in style & with some awesome themed music too! We had a mix of Pink tunes with some of my favorites from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack.
We warmed up with some arm circles forward, arm circles backward, Michael Phelps, Praying Mantis, Windmills, & some light leg stretches. Then we got started on our thang.
For the Thang we did a tabata of 12 exercises that spelled out Pretty in Pink. We did each exercise for 45s with a 10s rest between the letters on each word then 2min of running or walking between each word. See the picture below for the list of exercises.
We ran through it completely twice with just enough time to circle up for stretches, COT & Name-O-Rama.
