I thought I was seeing things. Cookie Monster drove up after a few months off and we were so happy to see her. I’m thankful she was able to join us for a beatdown again. We did some stretching as the stragglers arrived and set up and then jumped into my PUMPKIN beatdown.
We started with 50 scarecrows to check off a scavenger hunt item. We then moved on to spelling out PUMPKINS with 50 seconds on and 10 second rest in between.
P – peter parkers
U – upright rows
M – monkey humpers
P – pop squats
K – kangaroos
I – in & outs
N – narwhals
S – supermans
We took a lap and then moved on to screaming shoulders. We first did 20 of the following:
Moroccan Nightclubs
Randys
Hallelujahs
Around the Worlds
We did some high knees, then did 30 of each above. We followed that with butt kicks and then 40 of each above right in a row. With our arms hurting we then moved on to spelling PUMPKINS again just as before.
After another lap we finished up with sleepwalkers. I had to write these numbers down as it is a lot to think about. You start with 1 squat, 2 toe touches & 3 walking lunges. Each round you increase your squats by one, your toe touches by 2, and your walking lunges by 3. So the second round was 2 squats, 4 toe touches, & 6 walking lunges. We made it all the way to 7 squats, 14 toe touches, and 21 walking lunges.
We stretched for a couple of minutes and then circled up for COT and name o rama.
