Despite my warnings, 5 PAX joined me for the dreaded Pyramid of Pain!  This one is a tough one because it is a lot of running.  I was trying to think of classic beatdowns that we haven’t done in a while and this one came to mind.  The great thing about The Grove is the nice circle track we have to run around.  Turns out, the Grove is the perfect location for this workout!  It took us 58 of 60 minutes to finish the Pyramid!

We warmed up with stretches, butt kicks, and jump ropes.  Then we got started.  We start at the bottom of the pyramid, with 5 exercises: 25 Push ups, 25 Squats, 25 BGSUs, 25 Bicep Curls, 25 Side Lunges, then we run 5 laps (almost 1 mile).

Next is our row of 4: 30 Side Extensions, 30 In and Outs, 30 Lunges, 30 Mt. Climbers, then we run 4 laps.

Then we move on to our row of 3:  40 Vertical Toe Touches, 40 OH Pressed, 40 Curtsy Lunges, then we run 3 laps.

Next is our row of 2: 50 LBCs, 50 Tricep Kickbacks, then run 2 laps.

Last is our row of 1: 100 Hallelujahs followed by 1 last lap.

We ended right on time, with 2.6 miles of running and between 6,000 and 7,000 steps.  Every single PAX finished the pyramid!  It was hard, but we did it!  We stretched for a minute, circled up, prayed, did our Name-O-Rama, and then we enjoyed coffeteria!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!
