BackBlast:

It was a stormy morning, but thankfully those storms scooted south just in time for our workout.  Surprisingly 9 PAX ventured out in the rain to beatdown.  We started out not under cover with only a little bit of drizzle, but eventually moved fully under the cover when the rain returned.  But, it was a warm 60 degrees and many of us shedded a layer to really show those guns and our winter progress.

We warmed up with neck rolls, hip circles, arm circles, and TTS in cadence.  Next we played Would You Rather.  We side shuffled left or right depending on our answer.

Would you rather have spaghetti hair or sweat maple syrup?  Shockingly 2 said sweat syrup!

Would you rather sing every word or not speak at all?

Would you rather wear your wedding dress every day or a bathing suit every day.  Two confident women picked bathing suits!

Would you rather live in a cave or a tree house?

Would you rather live without Internet or without AC?

Would you rather never get stuck in traffic again or never have another cold again?

We had some laughs and got nice and warm.  Next, we partnered up and rolled the dice to determine our workout. I had workouts labeled on columns at the front of the school.  If you rolled a 1, you ran to the first column, did the exercises, ran back, and rolled again!

1. 5 Burpees, 5 Star Jumps, 10 Plank Jacks, 20 Squats

2. 10 OH Presses, 15 Bicep Curls, 20 Tricep Extensions, 25 Hammer Curls

3. 10 Carolina Dry Docks, 20 Bear Squats, 30 Curtsy Lunges, 40 Calf Raises

4. 10 Hillbillies, 20 Lunges, 30 Monkey Humpers, 20 Prisoner Squats

5. 20 Raggedy Ann’s, 30 Sumo Squats, 40 Scarecrows, 50 Chicken Wings

6. 10 Superman Squats, 20 Toe Taps, 30 Arm Circles, 40 Hallelujahs, 50 Moroccan Night Clubs

Miraculously, no one seemed to be rolling 1s!

When we had 10 minutes left, we took it to the mats for abs.  We did 26 reps of each of the following:

BGSUs

Side Crunches Left

Indian Style LBCs

Side Crunches Right

Leg Lifts

Russian Twists

Dead Bugs

LBCs

At this point it was really raining and our time was up.  We snapped a pic, circled up for prayer, did our names, and left to get kids up and work started.  Thanks for taking a gamble on the weather today ladies!
