8 PAX arrived for some Reindeer Games fun this morning at the Den! It was cold, but we bundled up and got to moving.
We started our warm up with arm circles and toy soldiers in cadence, some butt kicks, and a lap with caroling (check that Bingo box!). Once we were warm and feeling good, we got started on the Thang.
I had a board covered with “snowballs”. Each snowball had a reindeer’s name on the back. We took turns selecting snowballs and then doing the matching reps and exercise listed on the board. We kept it fast paced with little to no down time between exercises.
Dasher – Run
Dancer – 30 Curtsy Lunges (total)
Prancer – 100 High Knees
Vixon – 30 Single Leg Dead Lifts (each side)
Comit – 10 Inchworms
Cupid – 30 Walking Lunges
Donner – 20 Push Ups
Blitzen – 100 Hallelujahs
Rudolph – 10 burpees!
We pulled a lot of Dashers and Dancers and Prancers and Vixens and Blitzens (back to back – ugh!). We only did Rudolph twice thankfully!
We called it with about 8 minutes to spare and went around the circle calling out an an exercise. We made it around to everyone right in time.
We circled, we prayed for a local family and Bourbon, then we had our COT and Name-o-Rama!
