BackBlast:

It’s Saturday. It’s SEC Game Day, and the Tennessee Volunteers will take the field in a few hours. I can’t wait! I love everything about college football 🏈 and 7 lovely PAX joined me for a very humid, yet very fun workout. We did some warm up exercises while different fight songs were playing in the background. Rocky Top lead the medley as we did some jumping jacks, windmills and runner stretches. We all had a song playing for our favorite teams, and as usual

THE THANG IS:

College Game Day Sorta Dora and Core Ab ABC

I had a group of ab exercises, arm exercises, butt exercises and core. We did 25 each of the following: Overhead Pendulum sets, Renegade Rows, Gorilla Squat sets, spelled out Volunteers in ab core fashion, and ran to the monument and back. Next up, 25 each of Windmills sets, Tricep Kickbacks, Superman Squats sets, spelled out Tigers, and ran to the monument and back. Next up, 25 each of Weighted Side Bends sets, Chest Press, Narwal sets, spelled out War Eagle, and ran to the monument and back. Next up, 25 each of Wood Chops sets, Bicep Curls, Lunge Twist sets, spelled out Yellow jackets, ran to the monument and back. Next up, pax had a choice between an exercise listed on the board, a call out, or spell the rest of the teams in ab Core ABC. Call out it is. 25 each of Penguin sets, Pushups, Monkey Humpers, and spelled out Bulldogs, ran to the monument and back, 25 each of Bird Dog sets, Russian Twists sets and Bicep Curls to Squat Thrusters. Then we spelled out Crimson Tide and did some cool down yoga moves led by Namaste. We circled up for COT, prayed hard for our FiA sister, Bourbon, who lost her sweet mother a couple of days ago. We’re here for you, Julie. Whatever you need. Praise for Coach who is back with us after a covid-19 diagnosis. It’s so wonderful to have you back, Donna. Thank God you are well. We prayed for the Pruitt family as they have some very difficult times ahead after the loss of sweet Ellie. Ladies, with you I feel I could make it through the toughest of times. We really are better together. Coach said a lovely prayer, and we closed with Name O Rama. Today was so awesome and amazing. We lost count many times as we laughed and talked and got to know each other better than before. I loved our smaller crowd today and thanks so much for joining me.

Until next time,

Rise Up
