Training Camp was hard. High energy, lots of cardio variations with very little rest. Remember this: WE ARE FIA CHEROKEE AND WE CAN DO ANYTHING! These ladies are amazing. After watching football practices, and Hard Knocks and compiling ideas from my FiA sisters, this training camp Dora was born. Partly Cloudy led the warm up while I got set up.
The THANG is:
All the PAX partnered up for a “not so ordinary” Dora. Partner 1 completed reps while Partner 2 completed about 20 yards of each of the following: High Knees, Side Shuffle Pushes, Grapevine, Power Skip, and then ran back to their partner to switch.
The Dora exercises are as follows: Dora #1 252 Wood Chops, 152 Hamstring Curl Squats (with partner accumulate total reps) 52 Mountain Climbers (both partners completed 52 reps)
Dora #2 252 Bicep Curls, 152 Deadlifts, 52 Monkey Humpers (2nd verse same as the first)
We were able to complete the first 2 doras and we ran out of time in the middle of the third, but I’ll list the other two.
Dora #3 252 Weighted Side Bends, 152 Superman Squats, 52 Merkins
Dora #4 252 Pendulums, 152 In and Out Fast Feet, 52 Side Straddle Hops
There you have it. We cut the “roster” down to the required 52, and everyone made the team because we truly are #bettertogether. Training Camp was a lot of fun to put together, and these ladies took everything I dished out and more. It’s such a pleasure and a privilege to start the morning with such strong, beautiful and totally amazing ladies. The mumble chatter was fascinating to say the least, and it wasn’t hard to imagine how many PAX wanted to punch me in the face once this was over. At least we weren’t doing 3 a day beatdowns, am I right? Hahahaha 😂
