BUT…we had 12 amazing ladies join us at the Hideout this morning for an awesome Friday morning beatdown! You could cut the air with a knife it was so humid, so the 4 who did a pre-run were definitely cursing their life choices. But you can only curse your life choices so much when they give you more time with your friends!
Once 5:30 rolled around and the crowd was accumulated, we started with some warmups of arm circles, Michael Phelps and jumping jacks in cadence. Then we did that thang.
THE THANG – See You When I See You
Partners paired up. One ran in one direction around the loop and the other ran in the other direction. When they met in the middle, they did all 4 exercises. 10 reps of each, run in opposite directions again and 9 reps when they met…and so on and so forth…down to 1 rep and then back up to 10 reps.
- Imperial Squat Walkers (sets)
- Monkey Humpers
- Mountain Climbers (sets)
As PAX finished, they ran or walked the loop until everyone was done…which was just in time to circle up for COT and Name-O-Rama.
