Well, it was a hot and humid morning at the Union today. We found that out pretty quickly. Our workout was simple, but definitely challenging. This beatdown is called Speedbumps because you have to slow down when you hit them.
We started with a little stretching, and a lap around the large parking lot (we were on the bus side of the school today).
We would run a loop around the lot between each exercise. For example, do 25 squat jumps, run a lap, then do 40 merkins, run a lap, etc…
25 squat jumps
25 star jumps
40 shoulder taps each side
40 Carolina dry docks
40 Tricep dips
I had the list printed on paper, and taped to each cone, so we could spread out to keep everyone safe.
We all went at our own pace, and some made it through twice. All of us got at least 3 miles of running in, and we were all drenched in sweat by the end of it! 😅
We finished with COT, Name-o-Rama and well wishes for the week ahead.
